Although Daryl Stuermer is primarilly known for his work live with that little known prog band from England , he's also been quite proficiant in his own solo career. Although he's more of a "jazz" guy (and I might be wrong with that), I received a promotional copy of his new album..and it smokes! I was totally blown away by this jazz-fusion record (with sprinklings of prog in it) and needed to play it for you as quickly as possible. There's most certainly good songwriting here and the playing is top notch. Sure, Daryl is probably not your first choice from the Genesis camp that you would expect to hear on this show, but this album most certianly is one that you need to hear and get into.
